Making slime is a science. It's important to use the right measurements if you want your slime to turn out properly. Otherwise, your slime might be too liquidy or too sticky, making it extra messy.
Getting the right saline solution is important too. You will need a saline solution that contains borax (in the US, most do).

Slime Recipe with Glue

Elmer's Glue Slime Recipe

All you need to make slime is these few ingredients below.

Elmer's white glue
Water
Baking soda
Saline solution
Optional: Food coloring, glitter, or sequins.

Easy Slime Recipe

After you've gathered your ingredients pour out 5 oz of Elmer's white glue into a small bowl. Add ½ cup of water and stir until the glue and water are thoroughly mixed.

If you would like to color your slime, add in a few drops of food coloring. You can also use paint, soap colorants or pigments.

Next, add ½ tsp baking soda and stir. This will help determine your slime's thickness.

Add 1 tbsp of saline solution and stir quickly. Your slime will begin to form and pull away from the sides of the bowl.

The amount of saline solution will determine your slime's stickiness.

Once the slime has pulled away from the sides of the bowl, knead it for a few minutes. It will still be sticky at first.

You can add more Saline to make it less sticky, but only add 1 Tablespoon at a time and knead your slime thoroughly.
